Many people are waiting for Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7) which is set to be released in summer of 2011. What’s will be offered by the latest version?

Mac OS X Lion 10.7 will bring many developments made in Apple's iOS, such as an easily-navigable display of installed applications, to the Mac, and will include support for the Mac App Store, as introduced in Mac OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6.6. A developer's preview of Lion (11A390) was released to subscribers of Apple's developers program on February 24, 2011.

To work well, Mac OS X Lion 10.7 has system requirements include x86-64 processor (Macs with an Intel Core 2 Duo or later CPU) and DVD drive (also accessible via Remote Disc) or external USB or FireWire DVD drive for installation.

Mac OS X Lion 10.7 promises some new or changed features as Apple website was updated in February 2011, include Address Book now uses an iPad-like UI, AirDrop Mac-to-Mac file sharing, Auto Save as in iOS, FaceTime comes bundled with Lion, FileVault, Finder redesigned, Folder Merging, iCal has an updated UI, iChat support for logging into Yahoo! Messenger, etc. Yes, there will be many new features on Mac OS X Lion 10.7 at it release date. Just wait!
