On April Fool's Day, Google has set up at least two April Fools' Day jokes with Helvetica and Comic Sans fonts. It seems Google is a search engine with a high sense of humor. Let'e know about the jokes!
Google is playing with the world's love of Helvetica and hate of Comic Sans fonts. If you search for "Helvetica" in Google, the results show up in Comic Sans. It can make you smile in the morning, isn't?
Helvetica is an often-used sans-serif font. It's the kind of typeface you might use in a letter or on your resume. Comic Sans, on the other hand, is a circus-poster-looking font that you might use if you're 6 years old.
Google also offers "Gmail Motion," a body-controlled email program. Gmail Motion allows you to control Gmail - composing and replying to messages - using your body.
To use Gmail Motion, you’ll need a computer with a built-in webcam. Once you enable Gmail Motion from the Settings page, Gmail will enable your webcam when you sign in and automatically recognize any one of the detected movements via a spatial tracking algorithm.
With Gmail Motion, Googlers were able to get more done and get in and out of their inboxes more quickly. And it’s not one of Google April Fool’s Day jokes.
