Rumored, Google’s Me social network will be called Google +1. Google +1 will not focus on a specific website, but rather will be offered as an optional browser extension, according to a trusted source. Let’s see what Google +1 offer!
On an iPhone application, Google +1 will be called Loop which is expected to be prominently featured with an Android application no doubt arriving at a later time. The name Loop refers to various Loops in which different social circles (loops) can share information independently of one another.
With Loops, you can share issue with many users. Loop feature does mimic some of Facebook’s own features, which could anger the social networking company. But, Facebook Groups which was hastly pushed out, mimics a feature that was already underway at Google for +1. Google CEO Eric Schmidt has denied claims that Google will attempt to directly compete against Facebook.
With Google +1, Google users can recommend a search result they like by clicking on a “+ button. Google +1 is the next phase of Google’s Social Search strategy where search results would feature photo icons of people who shared a link. Yes, Google for +1 should offer a unique experience for those users.
